POWDER TRANSPORTATION

Typically, Powder Technology, Inc. (PTI) requests that customers set up their own transportation for any of the incoming and outgoing materials to be milled, processed, blended, classified, packaged, or pulverized. However, we realize this is not always possible or feasible. In those cases where companies do not have a contract or a preferred shipping method, do not have the buying power to negotiate rates beneficial to facilitate transport, or would just rather have someone else take care of it, PTI can help. We realize many of our customers are engineers, laboratory people, research and development staff, business owners, consultants, or purchasing managers and may not have access to a specialist in managing supply chain that they trust to take care of them and get good rates.

Whether the campaign is less than truckload (LTL), truckload (TL), parcel, ocean container, or expedite, we have longstanding relationships with both asset based transportation companies and freight brokers to allow us to help with this aspect of your toll processing job. When applicable, with prior written agreement, PTI can pay the transportation charges (inbound, outbound, or both) and add those charges to your invoice. This allows you to focus on your powder processing needs and company goals versus dealing with the potential powder transportation headaches of your non-hazardous dry industrial powder. In many cases we are able to get better rates as well, saving both time, aggravation, and money. If you would like a no obligation quote for your powder transportation needs please let us know when we discuss your toll processing campaign.
In addition to our transportation options, we can potentially warehouse material on the inbound or outbound side as well in an effort to best meet your needs. Details of this storage service are outlined on every processing quote we send out.

Please contact our Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Carter Anderson, at 952-894-8737 or send an e-mail to sales@powdertechnologyinc.com to discuss powder transportation (shipping/receiving) or warehousing specifics, should this be something you need or desire.
